What do we do about the homelessness crisis?

Finding a way to help the Homeless Population          I am sure that everyone has their own views and personal opinions regarding the "homelessness crisis." I know that I have my own. I have been homeless, a few times, myself. It is not something that I take lightly. It is a life-changing experience. Some people choose to be homeless and some have  been forced to live on the streets. There will never be a total "end" to homelessness for all people. It can become less of a  problem or issue, but it will never just "go away." This will always be an issue, so we will have to deal with it and figure out how to live around it for our entire lives.           We, as a society, need to hold official meetings through city ha...

Marketing in the News Blog

Starbucks confirmed the footage to Insider but didn't detail which other stores would be on the chopping block next.     I have seen this first hand when I was at "Starbucks" one day when a person came into the establishment and was cold and gave the ca...

My name is Denise Round and I was raised in Detroit, OR and now live in Albany, OR. When I was 14. my first job was at a small bakery/ice cream parlor and I have always wanted a business like that of my own one day. It was nice to see the customers each day and it made me feel like I was capable of running a business that people enjoy visiting and knowing that they will receive personal service and feel welcome to browse the products and ask questions about certain items without feeling rushed. I have managed a few businesses in my life so far and enjoy interacting with customers on a daily basis and helping them with making purchasing decisions and getting to know them. I have also worked for many employers who have went out of their way to answer my questions when I had some about their own business strategies and management techniques.     I am excited to be in this college course to learn more in-depth knowledge and management skills that make a ...
